Manav Suthar County Championship Debut: India’s young spinner Manav Suthar, who created a stir with his brilliant bowling in his very first Test match against Afghanistan, is now spreading his magic on the England pitch as well. This 23-year-old promising left-arm spinner, while making his debut for the famous English county club Warwickshire, bowled brilliantly and took 3 important wickets on the second day of the match against Yorkshire.

County shines right after Test debut

The last few days have been like a dream for human welfare. On June 6, he made his debut for India in the only Test match against Afghanistan, where he won the Player of the Match award by taking a total of 7 wickets in the match. Immediately after this brilliant performance, he reached England and joined the Warwickshire team. In the first innings of the match against Yorkshire, Manav bowled 21 overs and took 3 wickets for 85 runs. Thanks to his bowling, the Yorkshire team was reduced to 469 runs in the first session of the second day.

On the first day of the match, he took his first wicket in county cricket by dismissing Yorkshire batsman Sam Whiteman. Just before the end of the first day’s play, Manav gave out lbw to dangerous looking opener William Luxton. Then on the second morning, Manav dismissed George Hill, which helped in wrapping up Yorkshire’s innings quickly.

Manav Suthar gets short-term contract

Let us tell you, Manav Suthar has been included on a short-term contract for two matches of Warwickshire County Championship. This means that after this match, he can be seen playing against Somerset also. The Warwickshire team is currently progressing strongly in the race for the County Championship (Rothesay County Championship) title. In such a situation, this performance of Manav Suthar can contribute significantly to the team’s victory.
