sydney [ऑस्ट्रेलिया]July 23 (ANI): India-born batsman Xerxes Wadia and Australian Under-19 team member Aryan Sharma have been included in Cricket Australia’s pathway squad.

According to a press release, Wadia has been selected in the CA XI squad that will play a three-day match against the Bangladesh men’s Test team in Darwin from August 6-8. The South Australian batsman has progressed through Adelaide’s premier cricket system and was also a part of the Adelaide Strikers squad during the recent Big Bash League (BBL) season.
Meanwhile, Victoria all-rounder Aryan Sharma has been selected in Australia’s men’s development squad for the MRF Academy program in Chennai. Sharma represented Australia in the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup and was also a part of the Melbourne Stars team last season.
The development squad will play two two-day matches during the MRF Academy programme, scheduled for August 5-6 and August 10-11. Both matches will be played on traditionally spin-friendly wickets. Former Australian coach Tim Neilson will lead the CA XI in Darwin, while Tim Paine and Anthony Clark will oversee the coaching group in Chennai.
