India Squad for England ODI Series: India’s ODI team announced, Yashasvi Jaiswal out, Virat-Bumrah return

IND vs ENG ODI Series: Team India has been announced for the 3 ODI series against England. Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah have returned to this team. Whereas Yashasvi Jaiswal has not got a chance even after scoring a century against Afghanistan. The captain of the team is Shubhman Gill while the vice captain is Shreyas Iyer. Apart from these, there will be two wicketkeeper batsmen Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul in the team.

Yashasvi out even after scoring a century

If compared to the ODI team playing against Afghanistan, Yashasvi Jaiswal did not get a chance among the batsmen in the team going to England. Yashasvi Jaiswal played a brilliant inning of 110 runs in the third and last ODI played in Chennai. Virat Kohli has returned to the top order of the team in place of Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Virat returns to the team but still needs to pass fitness test

Virat Kohli was out of the team before the ODI series against Afghanistan due to hamstring injury. He suffered a hamstring injury in the final match of IPL 2026. However, Virat Kohli’s playing in England, selected in the team, will completely depend on the result of his fitness test. Virat Kohli’s fitness test will be held on June 22 at the Center of Excellence in Bengaluru.
