In fact, last July, a third year engineering student from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu had emailed Meta, in which the student told that there is some problem in the coding of Instagram and cyber criminals can take advantage of it for cyber attacks.
There are strict rules on cyber attacks
The Central Government has made strict rules on cyber attacks, along with this the Central Government and State Governments keep issuing cyber attack alerts from time to time. The student of Engineering College, Coimbatore who emailed Meta has also done a lot of research on cyber attacks, after which he informed in advance about the possible cyber attacks on Instagram.
Instagram What was the problem?
A student named Pratap, who hails from Sivagangai district and is studying in the fourth year of an engineering college in Coimbatore, emailed Meta to say that there could be a cyber attack on Instagram. After this, Meta investigated the problem mentioned by him and got it rectified. After this, Pratap was appreciated by Meta. He was also honored with Meta Institute Hall of Fame. Since then, Pratap, a student of an engineering college in Coimbatore, is being praised a lot on social media.
Pratap has been generally active in security related research. He has done a lot of research on cyber attacks, especially ethical hacking. Pratap has discovered something that even the most experienced maintenance teams of apps like WhatsApp and Instagram could not figure out.
