Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna, who suffered a left hamstring injury during the second match in Guwahati, has been ruled out of the third ODI with Anshul Kamboj named as his replacement.
The Men’s Selection Committee has also made a change to the T20I squad by withdrawing Washington Sundar from the five-match series against the West Indies. Sundar’s release is not due to injury; instead, it is linked to India’s upcoming Test series against New Zealand, with the Ranji Trophy season providing him an opportunity to get red-ball game time for his state side. Naman Dhir has consequently been brought into the T20I squad as the all-rounder’s replacement.
