Australia Pickleball Cup: Christian, Alshon, Navratil Among International Stars Set to Compete

The Australia Pickleball Cup, a PPA 1500 event, will bring a strong international field to the Queensland Tennis Centre from October 13 to 18, with several established names from the sport set to compete in the tournament.

Among the players scheduled to feature are , Christian Alshon, Yufei Long,   Connor Garnett, Sarah Burr, Collin Johns, Aiko Yoshitomi, George Wall and Dylan Frazier.

The presence of players from different countries is expected to add depth to the competition as pickleball continues to expand its international footprint. The Queensland Tennis Centre will provide the setting for six days of competition, with the tournament scheduled to begin on October 13 and conclude on October 18.

Christian, Alshon, Long, Navratil and Garnett are among the notable names in the field, while Burr, Johns, Yoshitomi, Wall and Frazier will also be part of the international contingent.

For many of the players who have already competed in the US, Asia and Spain, the Australia Pickleball Cup offers an opportunity to compete in a different environment while contributing to the sport’s growing profile in Australia.
