The T20 series between India and England has started and in the very first match, Team India has taken a decision which is sure to create an uproar. After the embarrassing 0-2 defeat in the T20 series against Ireland, the 5-match series between India and England has started in Chester-le-Street. But dashing everyone’s expectations, Team India has once again not given a place to young opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the playing-11. Team India made two changes in the playing-11 of the last match but Vaibhav Suryavanshi is not among them.
Vaibhav’s wait extended further
Vaibhav Suryavanshi did not get a chance in both the matches of the T20 series against Ireland, after which captain Shreyas Iyer and coach Gautam Gambhir are on everyone’s target. Although after the failure of Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma on the Ireland tour, it was expected that Vaibhav Suryavanshi would get a chance in England, but this did not happen in the first T20 match in Chester-le-Street and the 15-year-old explosive opener will have to wait for his turn.
These 2 players returned
Even though Vaibhav did not get a chance, Team India has made two big changes for this match and both are related to spinners. Fast bowler Prince Yadav and all-rounder Suryansh Shedge, who made their debut in the second T20 match against Ireland, have been dropped for this match. In their place, leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi and mystery spinner Varun Chakraborty have returned to the team. Varun could not play in the last series due to fitness. There has been no change in the batting of Team India but the team has only 2 main fast bowlers in this match.
