Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in Sri Lanka: What will Vaibhav Suryavanshi do in Sri Lanka? Will the first ball hit a six or a four? These questions were in everyone’s mind, which he has now answered. The 15 year old promising batsman did the same thing for which he has become world famous even on the difficult pitch of Sri Lanka. In the first match of the ODI Triangular Series, the match is being played between India A and host Sri Lanka A. In this ongoing match in Dambulla, Vaibhav Suryavanshi along with Prabhsimran Singh came to open the innings of India A. After Prabhsimran played a maiden in the first over, Vaibhav started the second over in his familiar style with a boundary.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi hit a four on the first ball in Sri Lanka too

On the Dambulla pitch, Sri Lanka A’s fast bowler Shiraz bowled the second over of the Indian innings. Vaibhav Suryavanshi hit a four on the very first ball of Shiraz. After this, he played a dot on the second ball and again hit a four on the third ball. Vaibhav scored 9 runs from that over from Shiraz with two fours.

The one who hit a four on his first ball took the wicket of Vaibhav.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi started his batting in a familiar style during the Sri Lanka tour. But he could not play for long. His innings lasted only 12 balls, in which he scored 14 runs with 3 fours. Vaibhav’s wicket was taken by the same bowler on whose first ball he had hit a four. Shiraz only got him out.

How was the opening partnership with Prabhsimran Singh?

There was a partnership of 16 runs for the opening wicket between Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Prabhsimran Singh, in which Vaibhav alone scored 14 runs. Prabhsimran Singh was also out in the very next over after Vaibhav was out. He scored 2 runs on 11 balls. Overall, the opening pair of India A could not show its identity in the first ODI against Sri Lanka A.
