BJP MP Sambit Patra presented the raw log of Rahul Gandhi’s foreign tours in the last 22 years during a press conference. Making a sensational allegation, Patra said that Rahul Gandhi has made about 54 private foreign trips since 2004. According to BJP’s analysis, while Rahul’s declared income between assessment years 2013-14 to 2022-23 was around Rs 11 crore, the estimated expenditure on these trips has crossed Rs 60 crore. “The tours are public, but where did the money for them come from? Five-star hotels, luxury cars and an army of assistants – is all this possible with an income of Rs 11 crore?” Patra asked the question.
