The name of this village, located barely a kilometer away from the Medical College in Nalbari city of Assam, is Bardhanara, where only one family lives. Although many families and people lived in this village years ago, after the 2011 census only 16 people were left in this village. But recent reports say that now only 1 family with 5 members lives in this village.
Why did this happen?Actually, there is no road in Bardhanara village of Assam. However, many years ago the (then) Chief Minister of Assam had inaugurated a road in the village, but that road is now dilapidated. This is also one of the reasons why people have to travel a long and difficult journey to reach the village.
