Pimpri Chinchwad Building Collapse: Due to the ongoing heavy rains in Pune, Maharashtra, a mountain of garbage built in Pimpri-Chinchwad fell on a three-storey building, due to which the three-storey building collapsed in a few seconds. About 16 people are buried under its debris.
Torrential rains have caused devastation in most of the states of the country. At many places, this rain is becoming a havoc of nature, due to which serious accidents are also taking place. Today on Wednesday, a mountain of garbage accumulated due to heavy rains fell on a 3-storey building in Pune. Due to which the entire building collapsed like a straw. It is said that 15 to 16 people are feared buried under the debris of this building. However, as soon as the news was received, the police-administration team reached the spot and started the rescue operation.

According to media reports, tons of garbage was accumulated in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, which looked like a mountain to people from a distance. But during the heavy rain, the same waste fell on the management building. Due to which the building collapsed within seconds. After this accident, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot. Some people ran to save their lives, but many are still buried under the debris.
Many people are buried under the debris of a 3-storey building
Pune administration says that a part of the waste-to-energy plant building in Moshi, Pune has collapsed. In which the people present on the first floor were buried under the debris. The employees trapped on the second floor have been taken out safely. One of them is seriously injured and has been admitted. At present, the police, fire brigade and rescue team present at the spot are carrying out the rescue operation.

Let us tell you that while talking to the media, Mayor of Pimpri-Chinchwad in Pune, Ravi Landge said, currently there is heavy rain in the entire Maharashtra, due to which many accidents are also taking place. Due to rain, the water level has increased so much that it is not able to drain properly. Due to which the foundations of buildings are becoming weak and such accidents are happening.
