A husband killed his 6-month pregnant wife after a domestic dispute in Faridabad. He killed his wife by immersing her head in a bucket of water. The accused is absconding and the police is busy searching for him.
Faridabad: A heart-wrenching case has come to light from Faridabad, Haryana. Here a husband brutally murdered his 26 year old pregnant wife after a domestic dispute. Police said that after the incident the accused fled from the spot and currently the search for him is going on. According to a report, the name of the deceased woman was Neha Kumari and she was six months pregnant. This incident took place in Panchsheel Colony Part-2 of Palla police station area.
Fight took life
According to the police, an argument started between Neha and her husband Amit Gupta over some issue on Thursday morning. The quarrel escalated so much that Amit allegedly first assaulted his wife and then dunked her head in a bucket full of water, resulting in her death. When the family members got information about the incident, they reached home and found Neha dead. He immediately informed the police.

Police started searching for the accused
As soon as the information was received, teams of Palla police station, crime branch and forensic unit reached the spot. The body has been taken into custody and sent to the civil hospital mortuary for postmortem. Investigators have collected evidence from the house and preliminary investigation is treating it as a case of murder. Police have registered FIR and started searching for the accused.
The couple had recently shifted to a new house.
Police said that Neha was originally from Muzaffarpur district of Bihar, while Amit was from Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh. Both of them got married on April 30 last year and had recently shifted to this new house in Panchsheel Colony. About a month ago, he had also organized a housewarming puja. During investigation, the police came to know that Amit allegedly called his uncle living near Badarpur border and told him that he had murdered his wife. Soon after, he switched off his mobile phone and disappeared.
A spokesperson of Faridabad Police said that raids are being conducted at several suspicious places to arrest the accused. Further action will be taken after the postmortem and forensic reports come. Police said the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
