Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached the CRPF camp in Netanar village of Bastar and inaugurated the Public Facilitation Center. He inspected the women of self-help group, sewing center and service bridge center and took information about rural facilities and self-employment schemes.
Raipur. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah reached the CRPF camp located in Netanar village of Bastar district on Monday. Here he inaugurated Shaheed Veer Gundadhoor Seva Dera (Public Facilitation Centre). During this, he also inspected various services being provided to the villagers and works related to self-employment of women.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Chief Secretary Vikassheel and many public representatives and officials were present in the program.
After tasting the tamarind of Bastar, Amit Shah said – the tamarind here is very sweet.
Amit Shah visited the tamarind processing center and talked to the women of self-help groups taking training there. They learned how women are increasing their income through processing and selling tamarind. Mrs. Lambi Nag, a member of the Gunadhoor Mahila Self-Help Group, said that after joining the group, she will be able to earn an income of about one lakh rupees annually. The women of the group are preparing high quality tamarind pulp. During this, Amit Shah also tasted the tamarind of Bastar and said that the tamarind here has special sweetness.
Villagers are getting the facility of Aadhaar and online services from Seva Setu Centre.
Home Minister Amit Shah also inspected the Seva Setu Centre. Here he talked to Mrs. Sukhdevi, a resident of village Netanar. Sukhdevi told that she has got the Aadhar card of her five-month old daughter Padma made here. Earlier, for Aadhaar related services he had to walk 10 kilometers to Nangur. Now in this center, facilities like new Aadhaar card, Aadhaar update, e-KYC, mobile number update and e-Aadhaar are being available in the village itself. Mrs. Sonamani present at the center told that she wanted to get e-KYC done for Mahtari Vandan Yojana for a long time, but was not able to go due to long distance. With the opening of the service center in the village, he immediately completed his e-KYC process.
Birth, income and caste certificates are being made in the village.
Villagers are also getting the facility of various online certificates through Seva Setu Kendra. Here, birth certificate, income certificate, caste certificate and other important documents are being prepared easily at one place. Bank Sakhi training is also being given to women in this centre. Through Bank Sakhi, women are able to avail banking facilities like depositing money, withdrawing money, opening bank accounts, getting KYC done and mobile number updated in the village itself. Besides, credit linkage facility is also being provided for self-help groups.
Women’s income increasing through sewing and paddy deck training
Amit Shah visited the tailoring training center and met the women receiving training. Here women are being given training in basic and advanced tailoring. Ms. Vijay Kumari, who is taking training, said that after learning tailoring, she will be able to support her family in a better way. Apart from this, the Home Minister also discussed with rural women at Dhan Deki Training Centre. Through this training, women will be able to increase their income by selling rice. Also, the husk from paddy will be used as nutritious food for animals.
