Mutual Funds Portfolio: The last one and a half month has not been good for the stock market. Where the Sensex fell from an all-time high of 85,922 points to 77,578.38 on November 19. Whereas Nifty fell from all time high 26,166 points to 23,518.50 on October 19.

According to the news of Times of India, investors have suffered a loss of Rs 48.5 lakh crore in this fall. The effect of this decline in the stock market has also been seen on mutual funds. There is no sector of mutual funds which has not seen a decline ranging from 0.82% to 12.42% in the last one and a half month.

Energy and power funds suffered so much loss

Energy and power sector funds and PSU funds gave negative returns of 8.50 to 8.49 percent. In the same time period, the infrastructure fund gave a negative return of 8.29 percent. Midcap fund and large and midcap fund gave negative returns of 7.73% and 7.14% in the same time period. Small cap funds gave a negative return of 7.07%, followed by multi cap funds, which gave a negative return of 7% in the last one month.

Losses in auto and technology funds

If any fund has suffered the most due to the fall in the stock market, it is the auto sector. Auto sector funds gave a negative return of 12.42 percent in the last one month. At the second position, consumption fund has got a negative return of 9.18 percent in the last one month. If we talk about tech sector funds, then only 3.45 percent negative return has been seen in it.

Market recovered after 7 days of decline

After the decline in the last 7 trading days, some brightness was seen returning to the stock market on Tuesday, November 19, where the Sensex closed at 77,578.38 with a gain of 239.38 points. Whereas Nifty closed at 23,518.50 after a gain of 64.70.
