People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader Iltija Mufti said that the Aad wanted to go to Kathua Bilawar with her party workers on Monday (March 10), but the police stopped him. He said that after the death of the three youths, she wanted to join his family members but the police did not let them go.
Mufti questioned the police and said that on the one hand the police is stopping the PDP people from going to Kathua Bilawar, on the other hand BJP people are going there in the morning and evening, no one stopped them. The leader questioned that when we are being stopped, then why are the people of BJP going to go. He said why this is being done only with PDP.
Kathua’s situation worrying
Along with this, he said that the situation is not good in the border area like Kathua and the government is doing unilateral work. He said that the situation is a matter of concern. Now as it seems here, the communal tension is happening. He said that when there is any accident or incident, people of the same community are targeted. He said that the condition that has worsened in Kathua, whose responsibility is the responsibility of these conditions.
PDP leader Iltija Mufti said that the police of Jammu and Kashmir says that everything is fine here, but if everything is fine then how are the incidents like Kathua. He appealed to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and DGP that the situation like Kathua should not happen again. He questioned that if the situation is getting so bad, then who should be held responsible for it.
Iltija expresses resentment on the fashion show in Ramadan
Along with this, Iltija also raised questions on Gulmarg fashion shows. He said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah cannot know about this. Who gave permission for it? He said that when the tourism department is with the Chief Minister and his MLAs cannot know about this fashion show. He said that it is wrong to do such things in the Pak month of Ramadan. The government will have to take the responsibility of this because all this happened through them.
Bodies of three people recovered
In fact, on Saturday, the bodies of Varun Singh, his uncle Yogesh Singh and maternal uncle Darshan Singh were recovered from the drain in the remote Malhar area of Kathua district. The three went missing from a wedding ceremony on 5 March. The situation in the area is tense after this incident. It is believed that the terrorists have killed these three.
