Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board is preparing for major action on the lines of the new Amendment Act. Waqf Board Chairman Sanwar Patel claims that 90 percent of Waqf’s 15,000 properties in the state are illegally occupied. At the same time, more than 99 percent of these Waqf lands are occupied by Congress leaders. Patel said that in this regard, he is preparing to send notices to more than 2000 Congress leaders.
Sanwar Patel said that Waqf has not received any revenue from illegal occupied lands till date. Whereas it has earned crores of rupees. He said that he has prepared a list of more than two thousand leaders, who have illegally occupied the land. Preparations are underway to send notices to them. During this, he also told the names of some leaders. He also said that there are many leaders who have cut colonies on Waqf properties in the name of their daughter and son -in -law.
‘Gave the land of food to private hospital’
MP Waqf Board Chairman Sanwar Patel has accused the declared Congress leader Riyaz Khan, Altaf Qazi of Sagar and Iqbal Khan of Indore Garhwali Chowki of grabbing the land of Waqf Board. Also, he says that in 2005 in Bhopal, Shahid Aleem was given the management of eating Yatim behind the Waqf Board. After some time, he rented the land in front of it to a private hospital. Apart from this, they are operating a big market every year on many acres of land.
According to Patel, Shahid Alam was authorized for the safety and management of Yatim, who is running a hospital against the rules and rather than paying a rent of Rs 15 lakh to Waqf annually. At the same time, BJP leader and minister Vishwas Sarang said that he tried to talk to the leaders of the Congress who have been accused. Shahid Alim refused to talk on the matter. Iqbal Khan of Indore said that whatever answer I have to give, I will give the Waqf Board.

Big fish should be removed- Arif Masood
At the same time, Congress MLA Arif Masood has also reacted to this issue. Masood says that there should be a proper investigation of this entire matter. Those who are illegal occupiers should be removed. Small fish should be removed from the Waqf land, but big fish should be removed. At present, the Waqf Board is seen in action mode. At the same time, many leaders are now avoiding speaking on this dispute.
