If our government is formed, we will throw it into the dustbin… Tejashwi Yadav’s big statement on the Waqf Bill

Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has given a big statement on the Waqf Amendment Bill on Saturday. He said that if his government is formed in Bihar, he will throw this bill in the dustbin. Tejashwi Yadav said that these vicious people want to harm Mandal Hindus in the name of Muslims. Through this bill, the real target of BJP is not only Muslims but also Dalits and backward classes.

Addressing a press conference, Tejashwi Yadav has described this bill as a long -term project of RSS and BJP. He said that it is a trick to remove Dalits-backward people from the mainstream socially, political, economic, educational and religiously. He opposed the Waqf Bill and said that along with Muslims, Mandal wants to harm Hindus. The Waqf Bill has passed from both houses of Parliament.

Those who support the bill will have to bear- Tejashwi

Tejashwi Yadav said that ‘I want to tell the Hindu brothers that this is a conspiracy to remove Dalit, backward and extremely backward from the mainstream. You saw that these people worked to stop 65 percent reservation. We believe that not only Muslims but also their real target is Dalit-backward. Those who have supported the bill in Parliament, they will have to bear those people in the election.

He said that, ‘The way we extended the fight for reservation. But the BJP came under the conspiracy and worked to stop it. We went to court to fight for reservation, we also demonstrated against it on the road. Similarly, we have gone to the Supreme Court regarding the Waqf Bill of Muslim brothers. When our government is formed, this bill will be thrown into the dustbin.

Why are 65% reservation of Hindus withheld?

The RJD leader further said, ‘Why are these Dalits and backward-backwards reservation of 65% reservation? Why don’t they want to calculate the Dalit-backward and backward and tribal Hindus? ‘ He said that why does not this double engine government want to give Dalit-backwards and tribal Hindus equal to equal space in religious trust boards, trusts of big temples etc. The Waqf Bill has passed from both the House of Parliament. Now it has to be approved by the President only to become a law. At the same time, many parties including RJD have moved the court about this.
