Standup comedian Kunal Kamra is currently in the news. Recently, an FIR has been lodged against him regarding his political joke in a show. After this, a news came out that a banker who attended the show had to leave his vacation to give clarification in the case of Kunal Kamra and came back to Mumbai at the behest of the police. Now the comedian himself has posted on social media on the problem caused by Kamra to the banker.
The comedian said, I have hurt me for the inconvenience caused by joining my show. He apologized to the banker for this. He also said, please email me so that I will schedule the vacation in India wherever I want. In fact, after the notice received from the Mumbai Police, the banker had to return to Mumbai from his Tamil Nadu trip.
Notice sent to viewer banker
The police sent a notice to a 46 -year -old banker from Navi Mumbai to appear as a witness in the case against comedian Kunal Kamra. At the time when the police sent a notice, the banker came to Tamil Nadu and Kerala for his 17 -day holiday, but after receiving the call and message from the police, he had to return to Mumbai without spending the holiday completely.
The banker started his trip in March 21 and was supposed to come back on 6 April, but after receiving the police notice and continuous calls, the banker had to come back on Monday itself. The banker said, I left Mumbai for the trip on March 21 and was about to return on 6 April, but when I was in Tamil Nadu, I returned from the middle of the way after the police repeatedly called. The officer who called me had doubts about the status of being out of my city and threatened to go to my Kharghar residence. Due to this I had to come back from the trip early.

Why was the notice sent?
The banker said, “Despite my saying that I booked tickets online for the show and I have proof of booking, the police said that I must have edited Kamra’s recorded video. He further said, why will comedians give me a video of his show (to edit)?
The banker was allegedly called by the police on 28 March. After this, he received a notice on WhatsApp on 29 March. It was said in the notice that under Section 179 of CRPC, he has to appear for questioning the next day. According to the report of news agency PTI, however, the Mumbai Police on Tuesday denied reports of Kunal Kamra’s show notice to the show’s audience.
3 FIR lodged on Kunal Kamra
Kunal Kamra posted a show on her social media handle X on 24 March. The show claimed that he had made derogatory remarks for Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. After this video surfaced, Shinde supporters got angry and he broke into the studio where the show was recorded.
Along with this, three FIRs have also been registered on Kamra after this show. Also, Mumbai Police has issued a third notice to Kunal Kamra and summoned for questioning on 5 April.
