In Jharkhand, a father killed his daughter because of a love affair. The daughter was having an affair with a young man from the same village, due to which the father had warned the daughter earlier also. On the day of Chhath Puja, when the father returned home late in the evening and did not see his daughter at home, he lost his temper. When the daughter was searched and she was seen with her lover, the father did not notice and shot the daughter in the chest. Police have registered the case and arrested the accused father.
According to the information, this entire matter is from a village in Garhwa district. The minor daughter of a farmer living here was having a love affair with a young man from the same village for several days. When the family came to know about this love affair, they forbade the daughter from meeting her lover. The father also clearly refused to let his daughter meet the young man. The matter continued for a few days and her daughter did not meet her lover.
Meanwhile, at the time of Chhath Puja, the family members were out of the house, the daughter was alone at home. When the father reached home late in the evening, his daughter was not found at home. The father immediately left for the village to search for his daughter. After this he saw the daughter with her lover in the village itself. After this when the daughter returned. He had an argument with his daughter and picked up the gun kept in the house and shot the minor in the chest.
The minor daughter died on the spot due to bullet injury. After which the father hid his body in the house and tried to suppress the matter. However, the local people informed the police about the entire matter. After which the police has arrested the accused father. According to the police, they have recovered the body of the minor daughter and sent it for post-mortem. The police have also said that they have recovered the country-made rifle from the house of the accused father.
