The daughter of actor Shriya Saran was recently seen feeling uncomfortable when photographers surrounded the family during an outing in Mumbai. The child moved behind her mother after noticing the paparazzi and clearly said, “I don’t like it.”
As the photographers continued filming, she was also heard shouting in annoyance. The moment was captured on video and later drew attention on social media, where several users asked photographers to respect the child’s wishes.
Shriya Saran tells daughter to stay behind her
Shriya had visited the ISKCON temple in Mumbai with her family, reportedly to express gratitude following the release of her latest film, ‘Awarapan 2’. When the family came out of the temple, photographers waiting outside began filming them.
Shriya interacted with the paparazzi and posed with her family. Her daughter, however, stayed behind her and avoided facing the cameras. After hearing her daughter say she did not like the situation, Shriya calmly told her, “Okay, you stand behind mamma.”
The child continued to remain behind her mother and appeared visibly annoyed as the filming continued.
Social media users raise privacy concerns
The video led to reactions from social media users, with several people saying that the child’s discomfort and request should have been respected. The discussion focused on children being given personal space when they do not want to be photographed.
Shriya Saran’s family
Shriya married Russian entrepreneur Andrei Koscheev on March 19, 2018, at her Lokhandwala residence. The couple welcomed their daughter, Radha Saran Koscheev, on January 10, 2021.
According to Shriya, the child’s name includes both parents’ surnames. Koscheev had suggested adding “Saran” so their daughter would also carry her mother’s surname.
