From Gujarat CM To PM: BJP To Celebrate Modi’s 25 Years In Public Service

It was on August 7, 2001, that Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the oath as Chief Minister of Gujarat. That marks the completion of 25 years of PM Modi in public service.

To celebrate it, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to celebrate it as ‘Sewa Sankalp Mahotsava’.

This all and much more is likely to be discussed at the introductory meet scheduled on Saturday, where Nitin Nabin is set to chair the meet of his new team members.

The party is planning special programs for 15 days, and heading the committee that will oversee the programs will be national general secretary Vinod Tawde.

The party celebrates Prime Minister’s birthday on September 17 as Sewa Pakhwara. PM will turn 76 this year.

The party plans blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, exhibition on the life journey of the PM in every district and state office .

The party has decided to have a team of seven members in every state, including one state minister. They will supervise and coordinate programs to be arranged. The party extends this Pakhwara to Oct 2 to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti .

The party organises free health camps for elderly women, above the age of 60 years, which must be conducted in every Assembly Constituency on 23rd September, the day of launch of Ayushman Bharat Yojana every year.

MPs, MLAs, MLCs, other elected representatives, Chairpersons of various boards and corporations take a leading role in organising these health camps.
