People have liked all the characters of the web series ‘Mirzapur’ very much. One character is also of Dadda Tyagi. The character of Dadda Tyagi was played by actor MM Farooqui, who is known as Lilliput. Apart from being an actor, he is also a comedian and script writer. He started his acting career in the year 1985 with the film ‘Sagar’. He has appeared in the film ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ with Amitabh Bachchan. He got a chance to work in many other films with Amitabh, but those films were never made.
In an interview to Bollywood Thikana, he said, “I was playing cards when I got a call from Subhash Ghai, who called me to meet him at his office. I did not have money to go to his office in Bandra. The man who was playing cards with me there had a car, he took me in his car.”

Lilliput further said, “Subhash ji told me, ‘I am making a film, ‘Sher Bahadur’ and Amitabh Bachchan will be the hero and you will be the villain.’” Lilliput was working on some projects at that time, but Subhash Ghai told him, ‘If none of your films are released before my film, and your image is not created, then you will have to leave the films you are doing.’ Lilliput said that he left the projects he was working on, but later Subhash Ghai’s film was also stopped because Amitabh Bachchan’s health had deteriorated.
Lilliput told that later he was offered a film with Big B by the name of ‘Aashiyana’, that too could not be made. Later, when director Shaad approached him for ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, he told Shaad, “I am unlucky. My film with Amit ji does not get made. Your film will also not get made.” On this, Shaad told him that he does not believe in such things. The work on the film progressed and Lilliput was seen with Amitabh in it.
