Actress Shalini Pandey was seen in Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan’s film ‘Maharaj’ released on OTT some time ago. It was with Maharaj that Junaid entered the world of cinema. Now Shalini has told an interesting incident about Junaid’s father and superstar Aamir Khan in one of her interviews. This incident showed how humble Aamir Khan is.
Shalini Pandey also participated in the round table interview of Bollywood Hungama. During this, he told that he had become good friends with Junaid during the shooting of ‘Maharaj’. During this, he told an incident during Maharaj’s success party, in which he had refused to recognize Aamir Khan.
Shalini could not recognize Aamir
Shalini Pandey said, “Let me tell you a funny story because I just remembered that what she (Nitanshi Goyal) is saying about Aamir Khan is absolutely right. I had worked with Junaid, so he is my friend. And we were about to go to a party and he (Aamir Khan) messaged me and said ‘Are you coming to the party?’ I said ‘Who are you?’ He replied ‘Junaid’s dad’. I said, ‘Who is Junaid’s dad?’ Then I realized oh! He said ‘Aamir Khan.’
What did Aamir say?
Shalini said that she was feeling embarrassed after this incident, but Aamir took it very lightly. Shalini said, “I told him, ‘Sorry sir.’ He started laughing and said ‘No, no…of course I am your uncle. I am Junaid’s dad. For a moment I had actually forgotten who Junaid’s dad was. Then I realized that he is Aamir Khan.”
