Virat Kohli Rules Out Test Return: Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli has been away from the cricket field since IPL 2026 due to injury. However, he has been selected in the team for the ODI series against England. Amidst all this, Virat attended the global premiere event of his brand ‘One8’ on Sunday, June 21. During this, King Kohli was seen in his old funny style. When he was jokingly asked a question about the sale of a particular red colored shoe and his return to Test cricket to increase profits, Kohli laughingly gave an answer which left everyone present there laughing.
The price of shoes has been kept equal to the test runs.
Virat Kohli is now a player of only one format, because he retired from Test cricket last year. Earlier in 2024, he had also decided to leave T20I cricket. In such a situation, Kohli ended his Test career with 9,230 runs. The interesting thing is that he has kept the price of his newly launched shoe equal to the figures of his test runs.
In such a situation, when he was jokingly asked at the event whether he would return to Test cricket again so that the price of this red colored shoe could be increased. So Kohli said smilingly, ‘I would prefer to sell at a lower price. But now I have nothing to do with Test cricket. England will return to the field from the series
The Indian team has to tour England next month. During this period, a 3-match ODI series will also be played between the two teams. Virat’s name is also included for this series. But Kohli’s playing in England will completely depend on the results of his fitness test. Virat Kohli’s fitness test will be held on June 22 at the Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. Actually, Virat Kohli had to face hamstring injury during IPL. In such a situation, he will have to pass a fitness test to return to the team.
