In Hyderabad, a manager instigated his boss’s daughter to steal 100 tola gold by pretending that she was suffering from brain tumor. Police have recovered some property and are continuing to investigate the fraud and the remaining valuables.
A shocking case has come to light from Hyderabad, where a store manager tricked his boss’s daughter and got a huge amount of gold stolen from his house. This incident that took place in Chaitanyapuri area has raised serious questions about trust and exploitation. The matter came to light on April 17 when a 48-year-old businessman from Kothapet approached the police. He told that about 100 tola gold ornaments are missing from his house. Based on his complaint, the police registered a case of theft and started investigation.
What did the investigation reveal?
During the investigation, the police scanned the surrounding CCTV footage and interrogated the people who were visiting the house. Investigation revealed that Sagar, a 34-year-old manager working in the tiles business of the complainant, was in constant touch with the businessman’s 20-year-old daughter. The girl is currently studying MBA.
The police interrogated both of them separately. According to police officials, the girl confessed that she had taken out the jewelery from the house and given it to Sagar. He was convinced that Sagar had a brain tumor and was in dire need of money for his treatment. Investigators said the manager had convinced the girl about her illness, due to which she took the extreme step without informing her parents.
Sagar, who is married and father of a child, is believed to have sold a large part of the stolen jewellery. The police have issued a notice to him for further questioning. Officials have confirmed that some gold and cash have been recovered, while efforts are on to trace the remaining property.
