Here, on June 25, in Gadipeddapur village, a 24-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself with a saree. The woman was five months pregnant. It is being told that the woman took this dreadful step after being fed up with the continuous torture of her husband and mother-in-law. They suspected her of having an affair with someone else and were demanding a DNA test of the unborn child.

Medak police has registered a case against the husband and mother-in-law. Both the accused were produced before the magistrate, from where they have been sent to judicial custody. Police said, “The woman took this step after continuous harassment and torture by her husband and mother-in-law. They suspected her of having an extramarital affair and were demanding a DNA test of the unborn child.

Telangana man dies in London

  • Describing the incident, the deceased’s father Madhusudan Reddy said that Srinath had gone to London for higher studies 14 months ago. He was studying the second year of MS from Leicester University. On the night of June 22, he went to a friend’s birthday party and returned to his room. The next morning he was found dead under suspicious circumstances.
  • His roommates informed his relatives in London, who informed the family in India. The family says that they were informed about Srinath’s death.
