A news that puts relationships and humanity to shame has come out from Bhojpur in Bihar. Here a wife killed her own husband for the sake of her lover. The incident is of 19th November. The police revealed this on Tuesday. The woman and her lover have been arrested and sent to jail. Further action is underway in the case.
The incident took place in Gangajal Dihri village of Teer police station area. A young man named Shyambabu Sah lived here with his family. He used to support his family by selling chickpeas and pani puri. On November 19, someone attacked him with a sharp weapon and killed him. Then the dead body was thrown near the Katiboj canal. The next day i.e. on 20th November, when the villagers saw the dead body, they screamed.
The body of the deceased was attacked so badly that it was difficult to even see it. That was probably so that the dead body could not be identified. People immediately informed the police. Police reached the spot and got the post-mortem of the dead body done. Then investigation revealed that the body was that of Shyambabu. His family members were talked to. Shyambabu’s family members expressed suspicion on the daughter-in-law. When the police interrogated the daughter-in-law, she kept misleading them at first.
The woman confessed to the crime
But she broke down under strict questioning. With the help of mobile surveillance, it was revealed that Shyambabu’s wife Shobha Devi was also present at the place where the body was thrown and at the time it was thrown. While confessing her crime, Shobha Devi said that before marriage, she lived in Delhi. Then she had an affair with a young man living in Rajasthan. Later she got married. But still her affair with her lover continued. When the husband got wind of this, he beat his wife badly.
