Effect of hot winds in Agra, Aligarh and Meerut
The weather in Agra will be completely clear and the temperature will be 35°C/25°C, but the sun will be strong. Aligarh will feel a little hotter, with temperatures reaching 39°C/27°C. In Meerut too, the sky will be clear and the temperature will be around 37°C/26°C.
Eastern UP: Possibility of drizzle in Prayagraj, Banaras and Ayodhya
There will be severe heat in Prayagraj today, the temperature can reach 43°C/28°C. The temperature in Banaras (Varanasi) will be 43°C/27°C amid partly cloudy sky with possibility of light drizzle at isolated places. The weather in Ayodhya will be clear and the temperature will be 39°C/27°C.
Highest heat in Banda and Gonda
The situation will be most severe in Banda, where the temperature will cross 42°C and the effect of heat wave may increase further in the coming days. The temperature in Gonda will also remain up to 43°C/32°C, but there are signs of slight relief in between.
