According to WHO, the recent outbreak of Ebola is more challenging because it also involves a rare strain (Bandibugyo species). There is no vaccine for this yet. No case of this has been reported in the country yet, but advisory has been issued for this, like do not travel to the affected places if it is not necessary. Dr. DK Gupta says how can we differentiate between Ebola and other fevers? For this it is very important to know the clinical history. For example, cases of dengue and malaria are seen a lot in our country and this disease increases more during monsoon. If this has happened to anyone before then it is normal to recognize its symptoms in a common way. Blood test should be done as soon as symptoms appear.
