Yuvraj Singh. When this name is heard, the image of a cricketer emerges who was a fighter, did not accept defeat and had the power to turn the match from anywhere. Such a cricketer who is very rare in ODI history. He held the bat and hit six sixes in one more over and played many such memorable innings which helped Team India win. When he held the ball, he trapped many good batsmen in his spin with his left hand. Cricket was in the blood of this player because his father Yograj Singh had also played for India, but the surprising thing is that Yuvraj’s first love was not cricket. Yuvraj was interested in some other sport.
Something happened in Yuvraj’s life that he had to choose cricket. This was very wonderful for India. Later, Yuvraj became a great player for India in limited overs. When India won the ODI World Cup after 28 years in 2011 under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Yuvraj became the Player of the Tournament.
I liked this game
Yuvraj’s first love was not cricket but skating. Yuvraj himself once told this on his Instagram. He had written that in his childhood he used to devote all his time to roller skating. Yuvraj had told that when he won the Under-14 Roller Skating Championship, he was very happy and he told this to his father. But his father got angry at this and also threw the trophy. He told Yuvraj in clear words to hold the bat and prepare to play cricket for his country. Yuvraj had written that after this he did not listen to anything and concentrated his entire attention on cricket. He had written that if his father had not been there, he would not have been able to become the cricketer he became.
