Karnataka Political News: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah resigned from his post on Thursday on the instructions of the party high command. Siddaramaiah said, "I am a politician and I have understood that the Constitution is our religion. Voters are God.

Bengaluru (Karnataka): A major reshuffle was seen in the politics of Karnataka on Thursday. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced his resignation from his post. It is being told that now in a day or two, DK Shivkumar will take oath as CM. Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar were facing each other in Karnataka for the last few days. But today everything went well. Both the leaders were seen hugging each other.

In the press conference, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said, "I am a politician and I have understood that the Constitution is our religion. Voters are God. I got a chance to talk to 7 crore people of Kannada Nadu. I got the opportunity to become Chief Minister twice. I am very grateful to Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge for this opportunity."

Before the resignation, a high-level meeting was held at the CM’s official residence ‘Kaveri’, where Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar was seen paying respect to Siddaramaiah. Shivakumar’s supporters gathered outside his residence in Bengaluru and distributed sweets in the hope of him becoming the CM. At the same time, in Kalaburagi, members of the Indian Youth Congress performed a special puja at the Sri Sharan Basaveshwara Temple, praying that if there is a change in the leadership, Priyank Kharge should be made the Deputy Chief Minister. It is being said that the Congress has replaced Siddaramaiah so that in the coming times, Congress government will be formed once again in Karnataka. Because by 2028 Siddaramaiah will be around 80 years old. Apart from this, serious allegations of corruption have also been made against him. At the same time, DK has the image of a ‘troubleshooter’ in Congress. Also he is known to accumulate funds and his caste equation is also fine in Karnataka. Therefore, he can be given the chair.

This picture of Karnataka politics is very interesting. Where DK Shivkumar is seen touching the feet of CM Siddaramaiah and taking blessings.  Siddaramaiah has said that he will remain active in Karnataka politics.
