Honda continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainable mobility by introducing its second electric scooter for 2025: the CUV e:. This model promises to be a milestone in the brand’s two-wheeler lineup, combining technological innovation with practical features and a design focused on the modern urban user.
With two Honda Mobile Power Pack e: batteries and a 6 kW side-mounted E-Drive motor, the CUV e: stands out with its maximum speed of 83 km/h and range exceeding 70 km, according to internal brand testing. The model also includes advanced features, such as a reverse assist system for easier maneuvering in tight spaces, and optimized charging time: just 6 hours for a full charge and 3 hours to reach 75%.
Connectivity and comfort within everyone’s reach
The scooter comes equipped with a TFT panel available in two sizes – five or seven inches – with the more advanced version including the innovative Honda RoadSync Du system. This interface enables route planning, weather forecasts, and call and music management, while keeping the rider informed about battery status and nearby charging stations. Thanks to Over-The-Air updates, the CUV e:’s technology will continue to evolve even after purchase.
Other highlights include 100% LED lighting, USB-C port, and generous storage space under the seat. The elegant and practical design includes a flat floorboard for greater comfort and simplified operation through a Smart Key.
Adjustable power for different riding profiles
The CUV e: offers three riding modes that adapt to different styles and needs. STANDARD mode balances performance and efficiency; SPORT provides a more dynamic experience with vigorous acceleration; and ECON mode prioritizes smooth riding and extended range.
Additionally, the scooter demonstrates versatility on challenging terrain, capable of climbing 13% inclines with passenger and luggage. This solid performance reflects Honda’s attention to ensuring reliability and quality, distinctive marks of its reputation.
Sustainability and future
The CUV e: is part of Honda’s global plan to launch 10 or more electric two-wheelers by 2025, on a journey toward carbon neutrality planned for 2040. This model follows the EM1 e:, launched in 2023, but presents itself as a more robust and sophisticated option, aimed at users with a more mature profile.
At a time when European cities are intensifying restrictions on internal combustion engine vehicles, the CUV e: emerges as an innovative response to sustainable mobility needs. The leasing, purchase, or subscription system, adjustable according to country, also aims to facilitate access to the vehicle.
Technical specifications and customization
The steel frame, 12-inch wheels, and CBS combined braking system ensure safety and stability, while the 120 kg weight contributes to its agility. The scooter will be available in three colors: Pearl Jubilee White, Gunpowder Matte Metallic Black, and Premium Metallic Silver. The accessories list includes top cases, windshields, and handlebar protectors.
With the CUV e:, Honda offers not just a sustainable alternative, but also a connected, practical, and sophisticated riding experience, reaffirming its leadership position in the electric two-wheeler market. Its arrival in the European market in 2025 marks another decisive step in the transformation of urban mobility.
