Home Minister Amit Shah on J&K visit to Humunyu Bhatt’s family honored with Kirti Chakra

Union Home Minister Amit Shah met the widow of Deputy Superintendent of Police Humayun Muzammil Bhat and his 20 -month -old son on Monday. Let us know that Humayun Bhat gave his life in 2023 while fighting the terrorists.

Home Minister reached the house of martyr Humayun Bhat

Officials said that Amit Shah, who came on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, went directly to the house in Humhama in Bhat after landing at Srinagar Airport. He said that before going to Raj Bhavan, the Union Home Minister spent about 20 minutes with retired Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ghulam Hasan Bhat, the father of the late police officer.

Martyrs were done in 2023

Humayun Muzammil Bhat, who was posthumously awarded the Kirti Chakra, was among the four security personnel who were martyred in September 2023 while fighting terrorists in dense forests around Gadul village in Kokarnag in Anantnag district of South Kashmir. On reaching Amit Shah’s airport, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his advisor Nasir Aslam Wani welcomed him.

Security increased throughout Kashmir

Security has been increased throughout Kashmir for Amit Shah’s visit and a large number of armed personnel have been deployed to avoid any untoward incident. The Union Home Minister will review Kashmir’s security situation in a meeting with top security forces and police officers on Tuesday. He will also review the existing development projects in the valley in a separate meeting.
