As soon as he lit the match, flames came out of the stove. Her hair was hit by fire and in a few minutes she got scorched.
The girl was rushed to the hospital in a hurry, but could not be saved. The incident is from Faizullahpur village of Baikunthpur police station area. After a fire from a gas cylinder here, 13 -year -old Raveena Kumari was badly burnt, causing her death. According to family members, Raveena was turning on the gas stove to make tea. As soon as he lit a match, the flames emanating from the gas stove engulfed his hair and clothes. After severely scorched, Raveena was immediately admitted to Gorakhpur Medical College, but died during treatment.

Raveena’s father Ravi Prasad said that there is an atmosphere of mourning in the family since this incident. The family and the village are deeply saddened by Raveena’s death. Family members said that Raveena was very fond of long hair, but no one thought that this would become the cause of her life. After this accident, the administration has started investigating the case and has appealed to the people to take precautions about such accidents in future.
