In Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, brother and uncle together killed a young man. After the murder, the body was going to hide the scooty. As soon as the railway reached the banks of the line, the soldiers who were patrolling there saw them. When the matter seemed suspicious, the soldiers gestured to stop them, then they started driving away with scooty. When the soldiers started chasing them, some distance away and threw the dead body and started running away. The policemen ran and caught both.
The case is of Mohalla Patiali Sarai of Sadar Kotwali area. Raju lives here with the family. Raju had two marriages. The first wife has son Sunny, while the second was Gautam. Both wives have died. Gautam died in suspicious circumstances yesterday.
According to the police, before the incident, Gautam had a quarrel with his step brother Sunny over property sharing. During this, he died. Gautam’s father Raju was in Sitapur at the time of the incident. Sunny and her uncle Satish kept the corpse in the house throughout the day. Waited for darkness to hide the corpse.
The hideouts were putting the dead body
Sunny and her uncle Satish wrapped Gautam’s body in polythene at around midnight on Thursday. He was taking him on Daatganj road after placing him on a scooty. His plan was to throw the corpse on the side of the railway track. Meanwhile, two soldiers posted at Jawaharpuri police post were patrolling. The soldiers wanted to stop Scooty rider on suspicion, but Sunny, who was driving Scooty, increased the speed.
The soldiers started chasing him. Brother and uncle reached the deserted area and fell the corpse after seeing the darkness. Scooty began to flee and run away. By then the police reached the spot. The police caught Sunny. After interrogation, the police also caught Satish. Sunny told that Gautam committed suicide by hanging himself. To avoid the police, they were going to throw the corpse on the railway line.
Police arrested
Sunny’s lies were exposed when the postmortem report came on Friday. The report confirmed the strangulation. Nail marks were found on the face. There were also marks in the head weighing. Head injury was not open. The inner injury had frozen a blood clot in the head. After the murder, both of them hid the corpse in the house throughout the day. The accused Satish has several cases including murder. He came on bail on 29 March.
Wife told the truth
Nisha, wife of accused Sunny, said that the brother -in -law was going on with my husband for several days over the partition. There was also a fight on Holi. The fight has been going on for a long time. Due to this, policemen also came. I went with my husband and uncle. I do not know how death happened. Gautam used to work with a doctor.
Police said that a lawsuit has been written against the accused for murder and trying to erase evidence. Both are being questioned. With which weapon was the head attacked and the murder was done. These aspects are investigating.
