Youth dies in accident
Here near Aukal, a pickup vehicle went out of control and fell into a deep ditch. In this accident, a 24-year-old youth died on the spot due to serious injuries, while another youth traveling with him was seriously injured.
Both friends were returning to the village
According to the information, both the youth were returning from Sundernagar to their village Behli as usual. He used to transport fresh vegetables of local farmers to the markets of Sundernagar and Nihri and earn his livelihood through this.
Pickup fell into deep ditch
After completing the day’s work, he was returning home in a pickup vehicle late at night. When his vehicle reached near Aukal on Sundernagar-Karsog road, suddenly the driver lost control of the vehicle. Before anyone could take control, the pickup slipped off the road and fell into a deep ditch.
One dead, another injured
Hearing the loud sound of the accident, the nearby villagers immediately ran towards the spot. Despite the darkness and difficult conditions, the local people showed courage and started relief and rescue operations. After much effort, both the youths were taken out of the damaged vehicle. After this, he was immediately taken to the hospital with the help of 108 ambulance.

Doctors declared 24-year-old Pushparaj son of Ghanshyam dead in the hospital. Meanwhile, in view of the serious condition of 23-year-old Dharmendra, he was referred to Medical College Nerchowk after first aid. According to doctors, the treatment of the injured youth is going on and his condition is better than before. At present he is said to be out of danger.

Villagers told that both the youth were hardworking, responsible and friendly in nature. He played an important role in delivering the produce of the farmers of the area to the markets on time. Pushparaj’s sudden death has brought deep grief to his family. There is mourning in the village and a large number of people are coming to console the bereaved family.

As soon as information about the incident was received, the police team also reached the spot and inspected the accident site. Along with collecting evidence related to the accident, the police have also taken stock of the condition of the vehicle.
