Banda Police of Uttar Pradesh has arrested a thief who used to drive in a Centro car and used to steal goats wherever he got a chance. Police arrested this thief and recovered 8 goats and a Centro car. This thief has been identified as Ramkishore Verma, son of Keshapati, resident of Bairaf village in Marka police station area of Banda. Of the goats recovered from this accused, three were stolen from Paraseta village and 5 goats were stolen from Mamsi village.
The goat owners had given a complaint to the police in this regard. Now Banda police is searching for two associates of this thief. According to Banda Police, thief Ram Kishore used to roam around in Centro car throughout the day along with his associates Tirra and Sonu. Tirra is a resident of Ghazipur in Fatehpur district. Whereas Sonu Gupta is a resident of Shasha of Fatehpur. According to the police, wherever these thieves got a chance while roaming around, they used to blow up the goats grazing on the road, put them in the car and run away from there.
Due to traveling by car there was no suspicion
Since the accused used to travel in a car, people did not even suspect them. According to the police, two days ago, Bisanda police station of the district had received information about theft of 8 goats from two different places. On the basis of this information the police has arrested the accused. On the spot of the accused, the police recovered all the 8 goats and seized his car used in the crime. According to the police, the search has been intensified for the two associates whose names were revealed by accused Ram Kishore during interrogation.
Used to steal goats and sell them in other districts
Bisanda police said that Jamid Khan, son of Babua, resident of Paraseta Ansh Singhpurmafi, had lodged a report of goat theft on October 26. On this report, when the police arrested the accused, it was found that this thief had also stolen 5 goats from Mamsi village. After this a new case was registered against the accused. During police interrogation, the accused told that he steals goats and takes them to other districts and sells them.
