Heat wave prevailed in Una, Sundernagar and Dharamshala in the state on Saturday. However, except Una and Jubbarhatti of Shimla, the day temperature at other places has dropped by 1.8 degrees Celsius.
Saturday was the hottest day in April after 2022 with an increase of 0.8 degrees in the maximum temperature in Una.
The maximum temperature recorded in Una was 43.2 degrees on April 30, 2022. The minimum and maximum temperatures in the state have been recorded two to six degrees above normal. According to the latest forecast issued by Meteorological Center Shimla, there is no respite from the scorching heat for the next two days.
Heat wave warning has been issued in four districts of the state, Una, Mandi, Kangra and Kullu. The maximum increase in maximum temperature in the state on Saturday was 0.8 degrees in Una. While the maximum decline has been in Bhuntar of Kullu by 1.8 degrees.
Despite this, it has been recorded 4.4 degrees more than normal. Meteorological Center Shimla has predicted western disturbance to be active on 29th and 29th.
