Haryana government has purchased helicopters worth about Rs 80 crore in the state. This helicopter was brought to Haryana from Germany. According to the government, that helicopter was 15 years old. The newly purchased helicopter is Airbus H145-D3. After the arrival of the helicopter, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini worshiped it. While talking to the media, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that there was a problem with the earlier helicopter, hence they were facing problems due to security reasons.

For this reason a new helicopter has been purchased. He wrote on Instagram that he worshiped the new helicopter along with his family members of the Haryana team. With the help of these new helicopters, the state government will speed up the development of Haryana through non-stop helicopters. Congress party has accused the state of having a debt of more than Rs 4 lakh crore on the purchase of helicopter.

What did the Civil Aviation Minister say?

Countering Congress’s allegations, Haryana Government Minister Vipul Goyal said that the Civil Aviation Department had planned to purchase this helicopter a long time ago. The helicopter currently being used by the government is years old. Vipul Goyal, Minister of Civil Aviation Department in the BJP government, said that a lot of problems were being caused due to the old helicopter. In such a situation, an order for a new helicopter was sent a year ago to replace the old helicopter.

He said that the price of the helicopter cannot be decided as of now, only after the old helicopter is sold, its exact cost will be decided after calculations. However, it has been said that the new helicopter will be purchased at a cost of Rs 80 crore. The old helicopter was purchased at a cost of Rs 33 crore.
