Harish Rao’s controversial statement on Telangana CM, compared with ‘psycho’ killer. Brs Leader Harish Rao Calls CM Revanth Reddy A Psycho Compares To Accused

BRS leader Harish Rao has made a big attack on Telangana CM Revanth Reddy. He compared the CM’s statements on the Kaleshwaram issue with that of ‘psycho’ accused Raju Kumar in the Ranga Reddy murder case and said that there is not much difference in the mentality of both.

CM Reddy compared to ‘psycho’ killer

Hyderabad (Telangana) [भारत]July 12 (ANI): BRS leader Harish Rao on Sunday compared Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s comments on the Kaleshwaram irrigation issue with the mindset of Rangareddy murder POCSO accused Raju Kumar. He alleged that the Chief Minister’s comments reflected a ‘psycho mentality’.

Addressing a press conference, Rao referred to Revanth Reddy’s comments about “blood on crops” and “belt treatment” and said such language from a Chief Minister was unacceptable. Rao said, “After seeing that language… I don’t see much difference between Revanth Reddy and Raju Kumar, who brutally murdered three children and three adults by slitting their throats in Shadnagar. This is a ‘psycho’ mentality. He is a psycho.”

Question on government’s silence on Shadnagar massacre

Rao further talked about the Shadnagar massacre and questioned the government’s response to the incident. Rao said, “Really, he (Raju Kumar) is such a big psycho that he killed those six people just because ‘if they can’t be mine, they shouldn’t be anyone else’. He cut them as if he was slitting the throat of a chicken. It’s heartbreaking. There is only one girl left. She can’t hear, can’t speak, and has no legs. What is her condition now?”

Rao asked, “When such a terrible incident happened, the Chief Minister of the neighboring state reacted to it, but the CM of our state has not yet reacted to the incident. A senior police officer from this state was playing golf at the Hyderabad Golf Club yesterday afternoon when all this was happening. What is the law and order situation in this state?”

What is the difference between KCR and Revanth Reddy?

Rao compared the leadership styles of former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) and Revanth Reddy, saying KCR made sacrifices for the formation of Telangana without asking for anyone’s blood. He said, “At that time, KCR Garu risked his life, came to the brink of death and fasted for 11 days to achieve Telangana state. But he never tried to shed blood or ask for anyone’s blood. He offered his blood and life to win this state. But you, when water is asked for farmers, talk about slitting throats and shedding blood. This is the difference between KCR and you.”

‘Give water to the farmers, if you want then put us in jail’

Rao alleged that the Chief Minister was trying to divert attention from the issue of providing irrigation water to farmers. Rao said, “Do you think that by abusing us, putting us in jail, or shedding our blood, you can escape the responsibility of providing water to the farmers? We are ready for anything. Put us in jail if you want. Take our blood if you want. But give water to the farmers.”

What is the Kaleshwaram Project controversy?

The BRS leader also targeted the Chief Minister over the Kaleshwaram project controversy and alleged that Revanth Reddy was making false statements about the functioning of the Kannepalli Pump House. Rao said the BRS government had worked for the irrigation needs of Telangana and accused the current government of failing to address the concerns of farmers.

The controversy follows Reddy’s statement on Saturday in which he accused the previous BRS government of irregularities in the implementation of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project and said the state government was working with experts to restore the project.

Reddy had said the government has appointed officials and internationally recognized experts to examine the project and the report from the technical agencies will guide further action. Reddy had said, “We are not experts; we are political executives and administrators. We have engaged experts to examine the project and suggest the way forward. Once we get all the reports by the end of August, we will be in a position to say more.” (ANI)
