Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Hardik Pandya has seemingly confirmed his return date for Mumbai Indians (MI). Pandya has missed four games in the ongoing season due to back spasms. He missed a game earlier during the season and hasn’t featured in the past three games. Suryakumar Yadav has captained MI in three games, while Jasprit Bumrah has led MI in one IPL match in the ongoing season. Pandya now seems to be fit as he has travelled to Kolkata with the team. He also bowled in the nets, hinting that he is fit for MI’s next game.
MI are scheduled to face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their next game on May 20. The fixture will be played at the Eden Gardens.
Suryakumar, who missed the previous game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) to be with his newborn, has also travelled to Kolkata and he will feature in the playing XI for MI. He will once again lead MI if Pandya sits out.
