Saudi Arab
Most countries including Saudi Arabia and UAE celebrate New Year according to the Islamic calendar. The date of the Islamic New Year or Ras as-Sanah al-Hijriyya varies every year. It is believed that on this day Prophet Mohammad migrated from Mecca to Medina.
China
