Hanuman Ji said Vajra: In Hindu religion, Lord Hanuman is considered the living deity of Kaliyuga. He is an ocean of strength, intelligence and knowledge. But among all these, the one thing that has been written about the most is his thunderbolt-like body, on which even the infallible Brahmastra fired by Ravana’s son Meghnad proved to be ineffective on his body. A very interesting mythological story has been told behind this in Valmiki Ramayana. Let us know which God’s boon made Bal Hanuman the most powerful warrior in the universe.

In childhood, Hanuman ran to swallow the Sun considering it to be a fruit.

According to mythology, in childhood Hanuman Was very playful. One day he saw the red sun rising in the sky and mistook it for a ripe fruit. With the desire to get fruits, they flew in the sky and moved towards the sun. Seeing this amazing jump of Hanuman ji, there was a stir in the world of gods. At that time there was also a possibility of solar eclipse and Rahu was moving towards the Sun. Rahu got scared after seeing Hanuman ji and complained to Devraj Indra.

Bal Hanuman was injured by Indra’s thunderbolt

Hearing Rahu’s complaint, Indradev arrived riding on his elephant Airavat. He saw that a child was moving towards the sun. Indra used his thunderbolt to correct the situation. The thunderbolt hit Hanuman ji’s chin, due to which he got injured and fell on the ground. Seeing his son injured, Pawandev became very angry and stopped the flow of air in the entire world.

The world was in trouble due to the anger of Pawandev.

When the wind god stopped the circulation of air, all the creatures and gods on earth were in trouble. Breathing became difficult and there was an outcry in the entire universe. Then all the gods arrived to pacify Pawandev. The gods brought Hanuman ji back to life and bestowed upon him many divine boons. This boon later became his immense strength.

Lord Brahma had given the boon of protection from weapons.

According to the stories, Brahma Ji blessed Hanuman Ji that no Brahmastra or divine weapon would be able to harm him. Even if any weapon will affect them, it will be only for a short period of time. For this reason, in Ramayana, when Meghnad used Brahmastra on Hanuman ji, even then he could not destroy him. Hanuman ji himself had accepted the influence of Brahmastra in his respect.

Indra gave the boon of a body like a thunderbolt.

Repenting for his actions, Lord Indra gave a boon to Hanuman ji that in future his body would be as hard and strong as a thunderbolt. After this no weapon will be able to harm them. This is the reason why Hanuman ji is also called Vajradeh and Bajrangbali. The word Bajrang itself means having strong limbs like a thunderbolt. Hanuman ji had received special boons not only from Indra and Brahma but also from many gods. All these blessings together made Hanuman ji the master of extraordinary powers.
