A video of a firing incident in Gwalior has surfaced on social media, in which miscreants riding a bullet are seen firing at a groom and the groom is seen running away from his own wedding procession to save his life. It is being told that the wedding processions had chased the miscreants riding the bike, but they could not catch them. Now, about nine days after the incident, the groom’s father has reached Janakganj police station of the city and complained to the police and has also given the video of the firing to the police.
At the same time, suspicion has been expressed on Ankit Sharma, a youth resident of Dabra. After this, the police has now come into action and made Ankit Sharma an accused and registered a case of attempt to murder against another partner and started searching for him. This entire incident of firing took place near Mahila Park, located just 100 meters away from Janakganj police station of the city. On the night of 22nd November, two miscreants riding a bullet without number opened fire on the groom Sachin Pandey who was sitting in the carriage carrying the wedding procession.
The groom’s father complained after reaching the police station
After firing at the miscreants, the wedding procession tried to catch them, but they fled from the spot. Somehow the procession reached the marriage garden with the groom and the wedding rituals were performed. However, now the groom’s father has reached Janakganj police station and complained about the entire matter to the police. After this the police is searching for both the attackers. Satish Pandey, father of the groom Sachin Pandey, who reached Janakganj police station, raised suspicion on Ankit Sharma, a resident of Dabra, and another of his associates while complaining to the police.
Police busy searching for accused youth
Since the bride’s side is a resident of Dabra and recently the bride’s father and family had a fight with Ankit Sharma. On which the police have registered a case of attempt to murder against the suspected youth and his other companion and have started searching for them. At present the reason for the firing is not clear as to why the bullet was fired targeting the groom. At present the police is investigating all angles.
