Raipur. On the occasion of the martyrdom day of Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai paid homage to Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji by participating in the huge Chhabil Seva and photo exhibition organized in the Gurudwara complex of Telibandha in the capital Raipur. In this program organized by Chhattisgarh Sikh Society, the Chief Minister described the sacrifice of Guru Arjun Dev Ji as an immortal message of humanity, truth, service and protection of religion.
Chief Minister distributed sherbet and prasad in Raipur Gurudwara
During the program, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai distributed sherbet and prasad to the passers-by and devotees. By participating in the tradition of service, he gave the message of charity, sensitivity and humanity to the society. During this, the officials of the Sikh community honored the Chief Minister by wearing a turban and welcomed him cordially.
Visited the photo exhibition of Guru Arjun Dev Ji.
The Chief Minister also visited the special photo exhibition based on the life of Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji organized in the Gurudwara premises. The exhibition depicted in detail his life struggle and spiritual journey from birth to martyrdom. In the exhibition, important events like the attainment of Guru Gaddi, construction of Harminder Sahib Gurdwara, compilation of Adi Granth Sahib, ideological conflict with Jahangir, arrest and unshakable faith despite unbearable torture were presented effectively.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji was a great embodiment of sacrifice, penance, truth, service and humanity. He said that Guru Arjun Dev Ji never compromised on his principles in the face of injustice, oppression and oppression. His courage, patience and unwavering faith in God even in the midst of severe tortures are still a source of inspiration for the entire humanity.

The Chief Minister said that Chhabeel Seva organized on Martyrdom Day is not just a religious tradition but a living example of service, brotherhood, compassion and humanity. Serving cold sherbet to passersby in the scorching heat is an excellent example of selfless service. He said that in the Sikh tradition, Chhabeel Seva has been a medium to keep alive the spirit of dedication, co-existence and philanthropy towards humanity.

Chief Minister Shri Sai, while appreciating the photo exhibition organized by Chhattisgarh Sikh Society, said that it is a commendable effort to introduce the new generation to the life, struggle, spiritual consciousness and great sacrifice of Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji. He said that history remains alive only when the young generation remains connected to the thoughts, values and sacrifices of its great men. The Chief Minister called upon the people to adopt the ideals of Guru Arjun Dev Ji in their life and follow the path of truth, service, harmony and human welfare.
