GT vs RCB, IPL 2026: Bhuvneshwar Kumar becomes first Indian pacer to take 350 wickets in T20s

New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar created history during the IPL 2026 clash against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday, April 30. He became the first Indian pacer to take 350 wickets in T20s, and the second Indian bowler to achieve the milestone.

He completed the feat by removing GT opener Sai Sudharsan in the third over to reach the 350 T20 wickets landmark. The fast bowler picked up his second wicket of the match and dismissed Shubman Gill for 43 runs. He also removed Jos Buttler for 39 runs in his last over of the spell, and finished with 3/28.
