The victim, a resident of Jaunpur, was married to a young man from Sultanpur district. The victim alleges that her in-laws tortured her for dowry. The husband gave her triple talaq after the fight. At present, the victim woman has filed a case against her husband and in-laws under various sections in the city police station of Jaunpur.

Actually, Farheen Bano, resident of Nagar Kotwali area of ​​Jaunpur, got married to Tajuddin alias Naushad on 28 October 2023. It is alleged that due to not getting a Bullet bike as dowry, the husband gave triple talaq to the wife after a month.

Gave triple talaq for not getting bullet

The victim alleges that after the marriage was fixed, the boy’s family took Rs 5 lakh in cash as wedding favors. On the day of Nikah, the boy’s family started demanding Bullet as dowry. After not getting the bullet, they were returning without marriage. Somehow, due to people’s persuasion, the marriage took place. But after the girl reached her in-laws’ house, her husband and his family started harassing her. When Bullet’s demand was not met, the husband gave triple talaq to the victim after a month of marriage.

No farewell without a bullet

The victim alleges that after the marriage, her in-laws started harassing her with bullets. After the accused left her in-laws’ house for the first time and went to her parents’ house, Bullet did not agree to take her back until his demand was met. Ultimately the victim complained to the police.

After which the police called the in-laws and reprimanded them. Then the in-laws bid farewell to the victim from her parents’ home and took her back to their home. After reaching her in-laws’ house, she started being harassed again for the bullet.

The victim was beaten and taken to her parents’ home.

The in-laws have been accused of torturing the victim for dowry. In the complaint letter given to Jaunpur Superintendent of Police Dr. Ajay Pal Sharma, the victim has alleged that her in-laws unanimously beat her up and threatened to kill or burn her due to not getting the bullet as dowry. Also threw him out of the house. A case has been registered against the accused and his family under several sections of the IPC.
