Delhi Ayushman Arogya Mandir: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated 45 new Ayushman Jan Arogya Mandir from Shakurpur. Now more than 415 centers are operating in the capital, where OPD, free medicines, vaccination and 80 types of free testing facilities are available.
A big step has been taken in the direction of bringing primary health services closer to the people in Delhi. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated 45 new Ayushman Jan Arogya Mandirs from Shakurpur. The government says that its objective is to provide quality and free health facilities to every Delhiite near his home or colony.
More than 415 Ayushman Jan Arogya Mandirs operated in Delhi
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said during the inauguration that now more than 415 Ayushman Jan Arogya Mandirs in the capital are providing primary health services to the people. The government aims to establish more than 1,100 such centers in the coming time, so that health services can be easily available in every area of the city.
He said that expansion of health facilities is the priority of the government and continuous work is being done to provide better medical facilities to every citizen.

Many free health facilities will be available at these centers
OPD consultation, maternal and child health services, regular vaccination, essential medicines and 80 types of free tests are being provided to the patients in Ayushman Jan Arogya temples. The aim of these services is to provide better treatment to the people at the initial level itself, so that the dependence on big hospitals for minor diseases can be reduced.
The government believes that having health centers near the localities will save people’s time and expense, and they will also be able to get timely treatment.

Many public representatives were present in the inauguration program
Many public representatives and local citizens including MLA Tilak Ram Gupta, Corporation Councilor Kishan Lal and BJP District President Ajay Khatana were present at the inauguration ceremony organized in Shakurpur. The government says that in the coming months, work will be done rapidly to increase the number of Ayushman Jan Arogya temples to more than 1,100.
