Actress Akansha Ranjan Kapoor is reportedly set to begin a new chapter in her personal life. The Gram Chikitsalay actress will reportedly tie the knot with director Sharan Sharma on July 11 in Mumbai. The couple, who have been dating for nearly four years, have largely kept their relationship away from the spotlight and are now planning an intimate wedding ceremony with only close friends and family in attendance. It is important to note that while both did not publicly talk about their relationship, they never actively tried to hide it and interacted on social media as well.

The couple, who have been together for several years, are expected to exchange vows on July 11 in Mumbai in a private ceremony. According to reports, the wedding festivities will be followed by a reception on July 12. The reception is reportedly being hosted by the groom’s family and will take place at the JW Marriott in Mumbai. Despite their ties to the film industry, the couple has chosen to keep the celebrations low-key and exclusive.

The same report stated that Akansha and Sharan are keen on maintaining complete privacy around their special day. In line with that decision, no printed wedding invitations have reportedly been sent out. Instead, the guest list has been carefully curated to include only immediate family members and a close circle of friends. The couple’s relationship has remained relatively under the radar since they first started dating. Akansha and Sharan began seeing each other in 2022 and managed to keep their romance a secret initially. Even after their relationship became known, the two largely avoided discussing it in interviews or making frequent public appearances together. However, they have occasionally been spotted vacationing together and attending industry events as each other’s plus one.

On the professional front, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor has steadily built an impressive portfolio across films and streaming platforms. She made her acting debut with the Netflix film Guilty in 2020, where she played Tanu, a role that earned her significant recognition. She later appeared in the Netflix anthology series Ray in 2021.

Sharan, on the other hand, is the director of Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and Mr and Mrs Mahi. He is currently working on Kuku Ki Kundli starring Bhuvan Bam.
