This amount has provided financial assistance to the elderly, disabled, abandoned, unmarried and other needy beneficiaries.
Bhopal. April 29 was a special day for pensioners. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred pension worth Rs 200 crore 71 lakh to the bank accounts of 33 lakh 45 thousand 231 beneficiaries under the Samagra Pension Scheme through a single click. During this, he also addressed the beneficiaries virtually. He said that the state government is running various types of pension schemes for the welfare and financial assistance of all the poor, destitute, elderly, abandoned, unmarried and disabled people of the society. This social security pension amount given by the government is not just financial assistance, it is a transfer of the trust of the government. This symbolizes that the government stands with the needy at every moment in every situation.
Relief to lakhs of beneficiaries of Madhya Pradesh
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is working with commitment for the welfare of all sections of the society. All the eligible beneficiaries are getting the benefits of pension schemes every month from the Central Government. This is a social responsibility for us. He said that this pension amount being given under social security pension schemes not only supports their livelihood but also inspires them to live life with self-respect. He said that it is the government’s resolve that assistance should reach every person standing in the last line of the society on time, with respect and in a transparent manner, so that no citizen feels helpless.
CM sent more than Rs 200 crore with a single click
Positive change in the lives of millions of people. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is working with full sensitivity and accountability in the interest of the needy. We are ensuring that the weaker sections of the society get regular financial assistance and no needy person is deprived of this assistance. He said that this pension amount is the government’s promise of affection, respect and security towards the needy. He said that the state government has made a provision of Rs 2 thousand 857 crore for schemes related to social security in the budget for the current financial year 2026-27. He said that effective implementation of social security schemes is bringing positive changes in the lives of lakhs of people of the state and they are also getting the basis of economic security.
During this period, the officials of the department said that the benefits given so far have been given to 62 thousand 594 beneficiaries of the pension schemes of the state government, Chief Minister Girls Guardian Pension Scheme, to 77 thousand 120 beneficiaries of the Financial Assistance Scheme for Mentally Underdeveloped/Multi-Disabled and to 32 lakh 5 thousand 517 beneficiaries of the Overall Social Security (Old Age, Welfare, Abandoned, Unmarried and Disabled) Pension Scheme, thus the total. Today, 33 lakh 45 thousand 231 beneficiaries have been benefited with a total pension amount of Rs 200.71 crore at the rate of Rs 600 per month.
